Alex and I have had a pretty crazy semester so far. He has homework til midnight or 1 most nights of the weeks. Then add a 22-24 hour work week. He has very little time for anything else. But don't worry, we make time! Intramurals seems to be outlet, as well as dinners with CHUCK. We have a new obsessions with the TV show Chuck and we always, ALWAYS watch an episode while we eat dinner together :) before we off to more homework and studying.
I, on the other hand, have a little more time that Alex this semester. Even with 15-18 hours working on campus, 12-24 hospital house (night shifts :)), class 8-5 on Thursdays, homework, projects, papers, etc. I thought I would be drowning but it turns out I still have time to make dinner...some nights.
Here is our life's/week's updates:
- We paid off a third of my student loans!!!
- Alex is planning two weeks in China for a "Megastructures/Megacities" engineering class next spring!
- I have figured out a countdown: 58 days till I am a OFFICIAL College Graduate! Woohoo!
- I have prospects as a Emergency Department nurse at Timpanogos Regional Hospital!!
- We have finished Chuch, Season 2.
- We are (sadly) looking for a new home for our baby, Maizy. She will need to be leaving us soon.
- We are dreaming of a sparkly, new apartment to move into next year (when the money starts rolling in!)
- BYU football on Saturday!
- AND, we're loving our married life :)
